Wakefield Youth Session Orchestra is directed by Jason Whiteley and Nick Bennett and provides advanced and enhanced musical opportunities in the world of Rock, Pop, Funk and Soul.
The Session Orchestra performs a wide range of songs and has played in a variety of venues including Wakefield Theatre Royal and Wakefield Cathedral. The group is made up of a variety of young musicians playing as a large function band including singers, guitarists, keyboards, drums and string and horn sections!
Rehearsals are on Wednesdays during term time from 5.00 – 6.15pm at Manygates Music Centre.
